Is the Side Hustle Summit legit?
Fair question. A free event promising side-hustle income from two internet-famous hosts pattern-matches to a dozen scams you have seen. Short answer: the event is real and the hosts are who they say they are. Longer answer: it is a launch funnel, and the genuinely sketchy operators are the unofficial pages riding its name.

Legit event, real hosts, standard launch-funnel economics. The summit was operated by Prime Mover LLC with Russell Brunson and Iman Gadzhi. It ran September 6–13, 2026 and existed to sell a $1,995 program during a free training week. It delivered what it advertised: five live sessions, free, with replays. The event is over and the official page now returns a 404 reading “This event is over.”

“Legit” does not mean “not selling you anything”
The scam question usually comes from a sound instinct: nobody teaches money-making for free out of kindness. Correct. The free week was the top of a funnel, and the funnel's destination was a $1,995 program pitched from session 2 on September 7 and repeated daily until the cart closed at midnight Eastern on September 14. This is the model behind every launch event these organizers have run, and it is a legitimate one. The free training was substantial because it had to earn attention for the pitch. The review breaks the format down.
Where the actual risk is: impersonators
Every large launch event grows a ring of unofficial pages built to intercept its search traffic, and the risk went up once the official page went offline while the impersonators stayed live. We are an independent affiliate site ourselves (see the disclosure), so here is the inside view of what separates honest coverage from a trap:
- Nobody could ever sell you a ticket. Registration was free and ran through the organizers' own systems from August 17 to September 6, 2026. Any page charging for early access or reserved seats was taking money for something that cost nothing, and any page still selling one is selling access to an event that is over.
- Check what a “review” is actually based on. The event ran, so first-hand accounts are now possible. Results screenshots and “I made $X after attending” claims dated within days of the finale are not credible on any timeline. Ours names which sessions we watched and which we did not.
- Honest affiliate pages disclose. Affiliates promoting the summit was normal, since the event ran a public partner program. The tell is concealment: no disclosure, fake countdown timers, or “official site” claims from domains the organizers do not run.
- Nobody legitimate asks for payment details for a free event. If a form wants a card number for Side Hustle Summit access, close the tab. The same goes for any page offering a “login”, since no portal was ever built.
What is still unanswered
The cart closed on September 14, 2026 without either of the two answers we wanted: summit-specific refund terms, and how long the replays stayed available. Neither was ever published. Three further gaps remain: no denominator behind the $55.6 million in tracked attendee earnings, no independent verification of the named student results, and no published outcome for the Guinness World Records attempt that ran across the week. All of it sits in the claim ledger.
